Skyway Dog House | Chicago

Skyway has a lot of Chicago character, atmosphere and history. Located in a gritty low-rent working man and woman's neighborhood. Its a survivor. A junkyard of a dog house that has survived everything the Chicago southside world has thrown at it, including a car crashing through a wall. Within sight of the East 95th Street Bridge which has a co-staring role in the Blues Brothers movie. The service by the fresh faced perky high school girls is quick, friendly and just who you want handling those hot dogs. Prices are right, the dogs don't come any better and I don't know how they could be any fresher what with the Vienna Beef folks churning those babies out just a few miles away. Fries are also noteworthy.
