Mannys Coffee Shop Deli | Chicago

Manny's has been around since 1942 - same year Edward Hopper painted The Nighthawks. It's a huge cafeteria coffee shop deli. On 6-8-2009 - we stopped by for breakfast - had a bagel 2 eggs scrambled with corned-beef hash fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee - the folks are so nice and attentive. The kind of place where they call you "Hon". Obama has been coming here for a while - they have plenty of press about him over the years on the walls. He's a frugal kind of guy and he has the good judgement to eat here.
