Freddy's Pizza is part Italian Deli, part Imported Foods Market, part Pizzeria, part Gelato and Italian Ice purveyor. Since 1968. It's got a lot going on and a lot going for it. What a concept! Go in get a few slices and a drink, sit at a table and admire the meats cheeses breads and imported goods. Have a gelato. Then get up and get bread, frozen pasta, cold cuts and cheeses to go for a snack later on. All at a little corner of Italy in Cicero Illinois, named after Rome's great philosopher. If he was alive today who knows he might be at a corner table writing his thoughts down while downing a slice of sausage and cheese, spooning a gelato, thinking that all really is right with the world and then getting up and giving another one of those speeches.
