Aurelios Pizza | Homewood

We Love Aurelios. I have since 1959. My first pizza experience was at the original storefront on Ridge road and Joe was my server! What a great guy and I sure miss him. There was and still is something very distinctive and unique about their sausage thin crust pizza. Must be the grease - oops I mean the juice from the special sausage melding with the crusty cheese. Last time I was there my teen-age son and I managed to eat a fiesta size sausage - I still can't believe we ate the whole thing. Any other pizza place - it wouldn't have happened!

Update: 6-09-09 - I'm back for my Fiesta size sausage & cheese with some help from some friends - Joe Jr introduces himself. So now 50 years later I have the son taking care of my pizza needs.
